What countries can I send money to?

You can send money overseas to any of the countries listed in the 'drop down' list in step one of the International Payment journey in Online Banking. A list of available currencies will also be available in a separate 'drop down' list.


Available countries and currencies may be subject to change, please check each time you want to make an International Payment.

Is the exchange rate different whether I use Online Banking/Telephone Banking?

No, the TRUST Exchange Rate will be the same regardless of the channel you use to make the payment. However, different charges may apply depending on the channel used to set up the payment. Please see the Personal Banking Terms and Conditions and Charges for further details.

Can I set up a payment in advance?

Yes – You can set up an International Payment up to 365 days in advance by selecting the 'Future date' option when making a payment. You can also set up regular payments for the same beneficiary by selecting the 'Recurring dates' option. Please be aware, that the daily payment limit applies to all payments due on the same day. For details of the daily limit, please see "Payment limits".

When will the payment be received by the beneficiary's bank?

International Payments in Euros to countries within the European Economic Area (EEA) will normally be received by the beneficiary's bank by the next working day provided your payment instruction is received by us before the applicable Cut-off time.


All other payments may take up to 4 working days, but may take longer depending on the country the payment is being sent to.

What if I want to cancel a payment I have made?

Once you have confirmed an immediate International Payment it cannot be cancelled or recalled.


Therefore, please ensure you check all the details carefully before confirming any payments.

For future dated or recurring international payments you can cancel the instruction up to 23:59 on the day before the payment is due to be made.
